Home Alone review

How to Watch

Home Alone

It was the Christmas of 1990 when I first experienced the magic of Home Alone. I can still recall the feeling of sitting on the sofa, cocooned in a cozy blanket, with shimmering fairy lights all around and the delightful aroma of cookies just out of the oven. I was abruptly immersed in the delightful yet tumultuous realm of Kevin McCallister, a young lad abandoned to navigate the festive season on his own.

My First Encounter with Kevin

From the moment I laid eyes on Kevin, I couldn’t help but relate to him. There he was, a mischievous eight-year-old who had accidentally been left behind when his family rushed off to Paris. I was drawn in by his adventurous spirit and cleverness. Watching Kevin navigate life alone in a big house sparked a sense of nostalgia and wonder in me. I often thought about what it would be like to have a whole house to myself, even just for a short time.
