Marvel Rivals Trailer Reveals Tokyo 2099 Map

Marvel Rivals, an upcoming 6v6 hero shooter, is set to provide not only a plethora of heroes and villains but also engaging battle environments. Recently, NetEase Games has announced a novel gameplay setting—a futuristic version of Tokyo, dubbed Tokyo 2099. This map meshes sci-fi elements with traditional Japanese aesthetics and portrays a city under the control of the powerful Alchemax corporation, overseen by their law enforcement unit, Public Eyes. A vast multiversal rift in the city's sky adds to the dramatic setting.

The game, which is currently being developed for PC, is gearing up for a closed alpha testing phase from May 10 to 20. This phase will offer players 19 characters to choose from and include three game modes across three different maps, including the newly revealed Tokyo 2099.
