Director Claims Tesla's Latest Innovations Mirror His Cinematic Vision in I, Robot

In an unforeseen development, a remarkable director has voiced his concerns regarding apparent similarities between his cinematic vision and the recent innovations from a well-known electric vehicle manufacturer. The creator of the acclaimed 2004 film featuring Will Smith is alleging that the designs seen in the movie closely resemble the features of Tesla's latest products.

Recently, Alex Proyas took to social media to express his discontent after the unveiling of Tesla’s Cybercab, a self-operating robotic taxi. He drew attention to what he perceived as striking resemblances between this new model and the vehicles portrayed in the science fiction narrative of his film. Proyas cheekily asked for the return of what he believes to be his original designs, juxtaposing visuals of the Cybercab alongside images from the film.

Additionally, Proyas showcased comparative images featuring Tesla's Optimus robot alongside the robots depicted in his film. He also highlighted the Tesla robovan's design, which appears similar to a vehicle from his cinematic universe. Released in 2004, I, Robot presented a narrative of conflict involving a police workforce of robots set against the backdrop of a futuristic 2035 Chicago.

As of now, neither the electric vehicle entrepreneur nor the company has issued a statement in response to Proyas's claims. However, inquiries for comments have been directed to the company by various media outlets.

Meanwhile, a freelance reporter has also noted the ongoing discussions surrounding recent developments in the entertainment and technology spheres, emphasizing the fascination with both the electric revolution and the storytelling of science fiction.
