Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter Unveils a Rodent Warrior's Tale Narrated by the Voice of Geralt

The sequel to the beloved 2D soulslike role-playing game, featuring a battle-experienced rodent, draws heavy inspiration from Game of Thrones and includes a nod to Witcher 3's renowned character.

Following the success of the visually stunning Tails of Iron in 2021, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter made a splash during its reveal at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. Odd Bug Studio, capturing attention with their highly acclaimed initial offering, presented a compelling 2D RPG that immerses players in the role of a valiant rodent protagonist. This rodent must engage in battle to protect his realm from a looming threat posed by amphibian forces. Meanwhile, to the north, a more treacherous danger emerges.

In this sequel, players will confront a ferocious bat army, introducing a new aerial challenge to even the most adept rodent fighters. This spells trouble for Redgi, the hero from the first installment, as the sequel introduces Arlo, a young successor steeled in the northern conflicts.

The shadow of Game of Thrones looms heavily over Tails of Iron 2, evident from the undead and dragon-like symbolism of the new adversaries and the story of a young heir assuming a heroic mantle reminiscent of a Northern Warden. Not only does George R.R. Martin's work influence the game, but fans of the Witcher series will be thrilled to hear Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia, narrating the game and bringing the story of Arlo to life.

Anticipation is high for Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter's release across major gaming platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam.
